COVID-19 Update

Policy and Protocol

The health and safety of our guests and talent is our top priority. Therefore, we have implemented the following additional processes and protocols to ensure you are protected during your time with us and to minimize risk and enhance safety.



Doors into the hotel are propped open where possible to minimize need to touch to open.

Six foot distancing is encouraged between guest groups, and in all areas with a queue.

Luggage carts are sanitized and stored out of public areas between each use.

Check in area and items used (room keys, computer, iPads) are sanitized between each guest.

Guests are offered valet or self parking options. Should valet services be utilized, our Talent wears gloves while engaging with the vehicle and sanitizes prior to delivery back to guest.



All minibar items have been removed from the rooms and are available through In Room Dining.

Rooms sanitized with electrostatic sprayers after every guest departure.

Room cleaning service is offered after each two nights of stay and by appointment. Turn down is also available by appointment. All items that remain in the rooms are sanitized between guests.



All high touch areas such as elevator buttons and doors that cannot be propped open are sanitized frequently. We have installed 40 touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout the property.

Complimentary bicycles are sanitized between each use. Each of our Talent wears a mask during their shift.

Our Talent washes their hands frequently, for at least 20 seconds. Where this is not possible, hand sanitizer is used frequently. Disposable gloves are worn by Talent where appropriate.

Talent receives temperature checks prior to the start of each shift and are directed to stay home if feeling ill.



Dining tables are spaced 6 feet or more apart. All flatware is individually wrapped.

We are currently not accepting cash payments.

Outdoor dining and reservations (for Goat Tree) are strongly encouraged (outdoor dining area has been expanded). Talent washes hands at least every 10 minutes, or follows proper glove-wearing protocol where required. All high touch areas and items are sanitized between guest use or touch.

We have multiple hand sanitizer stations available for diners in all of our venues.

All restaurant doors are propped open during service.

In Room Dining delivery is contactless.

In Room Dining delivery carts are sanitized after every use.



Following Santa Barbara County Health Official Guidance, guests must maintain social distancing and remain 6 feet from any other guest not in their party while in the pool and on the deck.

Seating available on the adjacent Mirador rooftop is spaced at least 6 feet apart.



Doors into the spa are propped open where possible to minimize need to touch to open.

Hands must be sanitized upon entry to the spa.

Check in area and items used (iPads, pens, clipboards) are sanitized between guests.

Lockers are sanitized between guests.

Reservations are required for entry.

Guest appointments are staggered and entry is not permitted more than 15 minutes prior to treatment time to minimize gathering in the reception area and lounge. 

Showers, bath and steam rooms remain closed at this time. 

Service providers wear masks at all times and disposable gloves, where appropriate.  

Masks are required for guests while in the spa, unless actively eating or drinking.

Estheticians will wear face shields, masks and disposable gloves during any service that requests guests to remove their masks for a portion or all of the service.

We are currently not accepting cash payments. 

Treatment rooms and seating areas are sanitized between guests. 

Retail area is cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.


The Fitness Center remains closed at this time, and housecar service is currently not available.
