TAN-TAN

Revisiting California's Moroccan roots, Tan-Tan is a tiny Berber village near the southern border of Morocco and home to one of the largest festivals known as the "Burning Man of Morocco." Partygoers arrive in their craziest get-ups to see and be seen. It's a pilgrimage for many to visit their over-the-top place and has served as inspiration for a number of expatriates over the years. It's also a chance for sun worshipers to "get a tan-tan at the Tan-Tan."
